The globally successful ITW group with around 46,000 employees in 51 countries and a turnover of USD 15.9 billion is looking for reinforcements in the Powertrain Plastic Europe division for the production sites in Mannheim (IPE GmbH) and Velka Bites! Our speciality is the production of innovative plastic components using injection moulding technology for the worldwide automotive industry and its system suppliers.
Your tasks: „From strategy to end-of-life management“
- Development of growth strategies considering market, competition, and portfolio based on quantitative and qualitative key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Active customer and project acquisition to achieve company and sales goals according to strategic and operational planning
- Industrialization of acquired projects using APQP at production sites
- Responsibility for portfolio over the lifecycle (price negotiations, change management, end-of-life management)
- Professional and disciplinary leadership of your team consisting of junior account managers, project managers, and sales administration
Your strenghts:
- You have a degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable field of study
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar position dealing with OEM and/or Tier1 customers
- Good networking in the automotive industry, OEMs
- Independent, entrepreneurial, goal-oriented, and efficient working style
- Excellent communication skills and high customer orientation
- Leadership experience desired, alternatively confirmed potential for leadership tasks
- Secure handling of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Negotiation skills in German and English, ideally French language skills
- Willingness to travel approximately 40% of your working time
